Almanac of the Chathams & the Dutch Towns is a monthly publication founded in 2023 to inform residents of Northern Columbia County, New York of upcoming events, to provide marketing support to local businesses, and to help full-time and part-time residents of the area better understand this special landscape, and all the living beings that call it home.
2021-2022
This Instagram-based project documented my attempt to make friends with mornings. My goal was to take a morning walk every day for 365 days. For many reasons, I was unsuccessful, and I am still not friends with mornings. It was this project and the enthusiasm it generated that convinced me that I was a writer, and that I could write for a living. If I had not tried to meet the morning, I would not have met my present.
